Morocco is the land of dreams, of princes, of Arabian nights in Marrakech and days in beautiful beaches in Agadir. Morocco is a melting pot of modernity and traditionalism, it’s a country with many facets, all beautiful, and we want you the discover the Imperial cities facet of it with our tour of Morocco.
Here’s the program:
Day 1: Arrival to Marrakech
We will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. After that, we’ll all have diner together.
Day 2: Marrakech
We will spend the second day touring Marrakech, discovering its secrets and mysteries. We’ll visit everything worth seeing: The ramparts, The Koutoubia Mosque (which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site), the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace, and the Menara Gardens. We’ll also have the opportunity to visit traditional Moroccan markets, the Old Medina, and of course, Jemaa El Fna, which is the oldest and biggest square in Africa.
Dinner will be under the tent at Chez Ali’s restaurant, after which we will go back to our hotel.
Day 3: From Marrakech to Rabat
We will depart to Rabat and ride across the small city Settat. Arriving to Casablanca, we will have a tour that will cover the most important parts of the city and have a break in the Hassan II Mosque, one of the biggest minarets of the world. After that, we will set off to Rabat where we will spend the night in a hotel.
Day 4: From Rabat to Fez
In Rabat, the capital of Morocco, we will visit many important locations such as the Royal Palace entrance, Chellah, the Mohammed V mausoleum, the Hassan Tower, and the Oudaya. After that, we will hit the road again, riding through Moulay Idriss mausoleum, and visiting he Volubilis ruins before arriving to the city of Fez.
Day 5: Fez
Fez is the oldest of the Moroccan imperial cities. We will together discover the city walls, the Old Medina (Fez El Bali) and its mosques, souks, madrasas (Islamic schools), Jewish Quarter, and “blue revolution”. We will also get the opportunity to see the Royal Palace from outside, and have lunch in a traditional restaurant in the heart of the old town.
Day 6: From Fez to Beni Mellal
After having breakfast in Fez, we will leave it for its neighbour, the city of Meknes, where we will see the ramparts, Bab El Mansour, the Moulay Ismail mausoleum, and the Old Medina. After having lunch in the Meknes Palace restaurant, we will set to the city of Beni Mellal, in the heart of the Middle Atlas, where we will be spending the night.
Day 7: From Beni Mellal to Marrakech
We will head off to Marrakech via the small town of Kalaa Seraghna. You will have a free afternoon to enjoy the crimson city of Marrakech, after which we will have dinner with folklore music in of the traditional restaurants of the Medina.
Day 8: Departure from Marrakech
We will transfer you to the airport for the return flight, unless you’re feeling like extending your time in the red city.
